This breathing exercise is great to do before you go to bed and/or first thing in the morning. It helps with stress, jet lag, frustration, anger, headaches and anything else you may feel the need to be calm about. The best part about it, it doesn't take long:
Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor and your hands in your lap, with your thumb and first finger touching (both hand).** By the way, there is no need to count slowly. You can count as fast as you want...just don't hyperventilate! If you are driving or somewhere where you can not sit the way I described, no problem, you can still do the breathing with the same results.
Inhale to the count of 7 -- Pause to the count of7
Exhale to the count of 7 -- Pause to the count of 7
Do this 7 times

**If you need to do this breathing practice and you are in your car or in the office, you do not need to sit with your fingers touching etc.....you can do it where ever you are.
